THIS. Any genre can be done well. If DC wants to be more dark and edgy, go for it. But they’ve utterly failed in the execution. Injustice is dark and broody done the right way. Snyder hasn’t been able to properly tap into that. There’s room for both, just no room for crappy movies.

I get that, but there’s hordes if Internet sites that neatly summarize story arcs now. It’s still an investment of time, but the barriers that once existed are crumbling. There’s no need for a gatefold cover explaining the cast and previous story anymore.
