Except...the SS 1LE doesn’t have 530hp. A 650hp GT350R would probably do just as well as the ZL1, but the GT350R doesn’t have 650hp. Your point is moot. We’re talking unmodified cars. If we were going to give the SS that 16% extra power, you would have to give the GT350R the same 16% extra power to make the comparison…

That isn’t anywhere close to true. A ZL1 1LE is faster than the GT350R around Nurburgring, but an SS is most certainly not.

This was what I chose. Personally, I think the 124 looks better than the Miata, and even the base model trim comes with the padded roof which makes it so much more livable. Regrets: 0.

I’d say using the tires in the configuration they’re going to be used in is the most practical comparison, but I do agree having a baseline with equal tire widths would also be nice.
