Yeah, the first 4-5 seem tacked on. There's actually quite a "who's who" of success going on for the rest.

Ok, good I wasn't the only one confused there.
There's actually a remarkable shift in tone in that piece after you get past the first 4-5. It seems like the original article was probably going for "hottest" as in a "hot topic" but someone decided that wasn't what they wanted to go for and threw in the beginning and some generic cover art to "attract readership"
I'm pretty sure Commander Shepard (male or female) is uncomfortably awkward doing ANYTHING outside of mission stuff. Dancing, drinking, ending conversations... I find it an funny part of his or her character that probably was unintentional originally. I should go.
I don't buy into the Indoctrination theory wholesale, but the the interpretation I had on my first playthrough still stands for me. I don't think the ending was a hallucination. Whatever or wherever the starchild comes from is immaterial. Whether it's a overlord AI for the reapers, their collective networked…
Indeed I was. Cheers!
I see what you are getting at, I think. But I don't see the "double standard." Sure the pictures may not have technically been braking the law, and neither we're they're "jokes" to one another, freedom of speech and all that jazz. That still doesn't mean that both aren't in bad form and probably shouldn't have been…
I don't think walking away is really a reasonable option here, she was trying to listen to a presentation she (or her company) paid to listen to. Which they were rudely distracting her from. That said my first choice of action wouldn't be blasting a picture all over the net, either.
True. Maybe a little less hostile request then.
Right. So going to the organizers would be the proper way of handling this. Or just telling the assholes talking in the middle of a presentation to shut up.
Please ignore this comment.
Do I really need to answer that? I'd figure that one's obvious.
It seems like another case of "let's all do the wrong thing," in my opinion. Tasteless jokes in public, check. Taking photos of people and posting them online without consent, check. Companies overreacting and firing everyone involved, check. Sounds like a grand day for the tech community as a whole.
sexual innuendo =/= sexism. Even then it seems really weak innuendo at that. And she took the picture BEFORE going to the organizers. Calling someone out for jokes that are annoying you and tasteless, fine. Even going to the organizers if you truly feel offended, also fine. Taking a picture and posting it online…
Isn't it a little warm, wearing that tinfoil hat everywhere?
Yeah, his charity is only almost single handed eradicating polio, and targeting malaria and AIDS. But go right ahead with your obviously justified personal hatred that has nothing to do with this article.
In which case it might be good to have a handful of bats handy.
No. People who are merely stupid would be offended by being associated with this. There is no word to describe how sincerely I wish that these not be real opinions held by someone of the human race.
It might just be time to LEEEROY JENKINS it. Honestly I don't know why I am surprised still that this could even be real. That people somewhere, out there actually believe this. I feel worse just being associated with the same species as them.
Wait, so you take the shortcomings without acknowledging the successes... interesting way to make an argument. Dead Space was created before it "lost its luster" aka "you not liking it" despite its good sales. But then on the other hand you make an argument for Mirror's Edge being a failure because of sales despite…
