I guess for me I just see that as a business model that isn't sustainable. Though, that's probably a personal thing. I just don't really buy vanity stuff from a cash shop.

Well, toss in some popcorn and a drink and you'll easily hit 15-20 bucks per person. Call it a weakness, but I smell that fresh popcorn and lose all willpower. And you can't eat popcorn without a drink... :)

I must be one of the holdouts that still prefers sub based MMO's. I don't like the idea of getting nickel and dimed to death in a P2W cash shop environment, and if I play more than 2 hours a month, I feel my 15 bucks is justified (movie ticket price). If a game gets stale, I can cancel my sub, and always resub later…

It was probably just a dry bite. I *think* it is possible to build up an immunity, but it requires injecting your self with small amounts of venom over an extended periods of time.

Right there with you. I always thought 3 was a nice throwback to the original. One alien, no weapons, and a large hunting ground. It has also been interesting to see the footage they've added back in on the last few releases.

Well, my SUPER reliable source (cracked.com, lol) says that's just an urban legend. They got their top investigators on it to debunk that rumor about Marilyn Manson.

I actually read a short story in the book linked below that addressed this, albeit in a much more... morbid fashion. Basically about a guy who starts having parts amputated so that he can achieve the world record for pull-ups.

I think the issue is more that they actively contribute money (that is generated by you, the consumer) to organizations pushing an anti-gay agenda.
