how much could working from home prevent?  or better city planning with no vehicles allowed in downtown areas.

My favourite thing is the vision-based systems that don’t register cyclists or motorcyclists at all.

The SS was not a dud for GM. As you pointed out, the SS was a Holden Commodore and effectively the reincarnated Pontiac G8 (also a Commodore, albeit an earlier version). By the time the SS came out, GM had realized that it was unprofitable to continue building cars in Australia, but had entered an agreement with the

I was just coming to say this. I started looking at RC F’s and then noticed he can almost afford an LC! The only old IS F’s I can find are like $20K with 200K miles. I’d prefer to get a 1-year old new-generation IS-F for $60K.

M5 is right up there with a 850 with a V12 for potential and expensive problems

This is one of those vehicles that would scare the shit out of me buying used from a dealer. Or used period.. if you can buy private party and get to know the owner and how it was driven/babied maybe.

+1 for the Chevy SS. Here is another. Auto but well looked after and never hooned. They were asking $51k for it a couple months ago.  Saw the rain maybe 3 or 4 times but that is it in it’s lifetime after leaving the lot.  Was actually a showroom model.

Just throwing out there that the 2013-2014 GT500's are a much much much better proposition than the earlier ones. Earlier models used an iron block and were so front heavy that they have genuinely dangerous levels of understeer; for the facelifted models they switched to an aluminum block that made the weight balance

If you actually off-road the difference in width between a Silverado and a Colorado is not an insignificant advantage and the shorter wheelbase leads to a much better breakover with similar tire sizes.

I think a majority of us would be able to live with all the other little shortfalls if the MPG was even remotely reasonable. it’s just crazy to me that we still see so many new vehicles with mileage in the teens. especially with how expensive gasoline is getting (my area is around $5/gal)....

the bed ... on the ZR2 it is very tall – and there’s no real way to get in without looking goofy. There’s no step to be found anywhere, and when the tailgate is down, it’s still pretty much at nipple height.

I’m no blue lives matter type who thinks cops can do no wrong, but this seems like a reasonable response in this situation. Seems like it could have ended much worse for all involved had they taken a different approach.

I’m not one to defend cops, far from it. But I’m not sure what else they could’ve done. I don’t think this was by the book but they took the lady down, alive, and seemingly didn’t endanger anyone else. Probably not by the book, for sure. Hopefully she can get the help she needs.

It’s going to be really hard for me to ever consider a Fold (vs. a Flip) as long as the price of a flagship phone and a flagship tablet is still less than the single foldable phone.

Don’t worry how the dash will look after off roading.  98 percent of them will never leave pavement.

16 MPG is slightly worse than I get with my Hemi Ram. Also 6k isn’t enough towing capability as my boat + trailer weighs more than that.  In other words it’s not all the truck I need.

The Ford F-150 Raptor and Ram 1500 TRX are absolutely massive vehicles in just about every sense of the word. In all honesty, they’re just too damn big for most places outside of Texas

I’ve never seen the point of the Colorado.

for 52k it fucking better be.  and 16mpg in a turbo 4 is pathetic.  that gets worse mileage than my 99 powerstroke.  not in town mind you, there its more like 12 but on the hwy i can get 16-17 on ko2s. if i went back to the factory tires i could do a bit better.

Headline, as usual, is misleading.
