Go buy it and report back here to tell us how it goes for you after a year of ownership.

Porsches are worth more unmodified. People wanting to buy a used Porsche(like myself) wouldn’t buy a modified one, even if it were less much, much expensive than an unmolested example. And especially not with that garish, hideous painted interior.

I wanted to smash the NP for a super clean looking Cayman that you’d have a hard time replicating for the money. This thing must be a rocketship.....

Aside from the emissions, other little bothersome things. The old tires. The license plate frame...is the seller advertising his business, or has this car had a long, strange trip? ND.

He is, Vancouver area, where the black population is about 1% so there aren’t a lot. From the break down I saw it’s mostly white and Asian, of various nationalities, in that area, which coincidentally makes up most of his employees. So there not being any black folks on the payroll is likely just cause there aren’t a

Indeed. While this will probably come as a blow for LMG (and well deserved too), in the grand scheme of things this is pretty much weaksauce news.
“Company struggling because of too high goal settings to justify expansion while struggling with initial owner out of his dept as a manager” is more common than one thinks.

I’ve been in companies that grew rapidly, this sounds exactly like the kind of mistakes companies make when they grow too big too fast, is the “NO TIME TO WASTE, LET’S GO” mindset and poor communication that causes this. I don’t think it’s malicious, just done in the wrong way without communicating correctly. The

Ok but can I get one with windows that don’t let me be seen by the whole waterfront? I know I know, curtains but come on now.

Based on the videos they put it out, LMG is trying to recoupe all the costs of making that massive new lab, all the extremely expensive equiptment and future scaling plans. It seems like a case of knowing that the window to make money fluxuates for a youtuber and they decided increased output at a cost to quality was

The cooling block prototype was designed to work with an RTX3090Ti, which Billet Labs provided along with the device - which they stated was untested with 4090, since they didn’t have it.

LTT then proceeded to test the block on 4090 anyway without disclosing the above information, didn’t adhere to instructions provided

I feel like the YouTube creator space is getting overly crowded and you now have definite overlap and conflict between certain players. Most of these creators have been making it up as they go along (which is great when it comes to creation!), but using that approach with the ‘dealing with competition’ problem is not

That in an article about how terrible it is to make corrections as a footnote... Kotaku makes corrections by footnote.

Honestly this has been my whole takeaway on this. I personally don’t care about LTT enough to form more of an opinion, but I do care enough to chuckle at the expected Kotaku article about someone on the verge of being cancelled.

Youtube drama pissing matches are just stupid.

It is his so called made up job title for himself after leaving the CEO position.

LMG are in way over their heads at this point. Their video output has a constant feel of struggle comedy and they rarely if ever seem like they’re taking any time at all to do anything. They’re slapping a bunch of shit together as fast as possible then scurrying off to the next set.

The main problem is that LTT initial response to criticism like this is to act like “Y U mAd?”, then apologize only after the blow back. Most of the time Linus goes and stirs up shit on the socials, only to figure out that, no, people are upset and you’re acting like a douche. Then the apology video hits, “blah blah

That’s what bugged me most. Linus’ response is easily the worst of everyone else. They all, for the most part, accepted the criticism and said they’d be better in the future. That’s fine, but most of Linus’ response was him whining about people calling him a thief.

Linus Media Group isn’t just the Linus Tech Tips channel, it also runs the ShortCircuit, TechQuickie, TechLinked, GameLinked, and LMG Clips channels (plus a few more that don’t upload regularly), as well as the WAN Show podcast. Between all those channels, they’ve uploaded 33 videos in just the past week, and that’s

The fact that the apology video was an EDITED video speaks volumes. Not only does Linus not understand GN’s criticisms (ethics/rushing inaccurate videos for a bottom line), but this mindset is shared by the writers, the editors, and the performers. Let’s be real, 100% this video was a performance. All this could have
