My 2016 VW also does this. You can even change it but I won’t because I assume it is designed to protect the fuel pump.

No, but it also goes from fumes to full tank in 10 minutes with a trip to the restroom after the tank is full.
So much this, drove to New Orleans in the wife’s sonata hybrid this weekend. did about 1100 miles round trip. the Hyundai did 683 miles on the first tank of fuel (down and some of the way back). With the yeti in the back seat, stops were limited to bathroom breaks.
The Range isn’t the issue, so much, anymore. It’s the quickness of the charge, along with the availability of a charging station along your route.
Hypermiling is dumb and doesn’t prove anything about the viability of electric cars under normal circumstances especially when it’s on a closed loop with no elevation changes and etc....
I didn’t take any as I didn’t think anyone would be interested in me watching the road while listening to audio books for a total of 18 hours.
No it isn’t, for me that is a sedate pace, as I’ve done 1,000 miles in a long day in the past.

Except it does he is using this to claim that the range of electric cars is getting better, except in this case it was extreme measures and the normal range is much much less.
“With electric vehicles rapidly becoming more viable for long distance trips... Two men in Denver set out to break the record distance in a Model 3 this weekend and after 32 hours... After driving 606 miles...”
While I am sorry some people’s homes have been destroyed, I find it very interesting to watch Pele build more island. I know it is easy for me to say, way back here on the east coast. Our volcanoes have been extinct for a long time.
Most of the motorcycle dudes don’t have licenses anyway.
Dumbass
Liking your own comments is pretty sad...
No shit. Maybe taking away a large portion of their life and destroying their ability to ever make a living is overkill though?
Because I think the idea of 10 years in prison for blocking traffic is insane, I must ride a motorcycle without gear?
“With your logic, if someone tries to kill you and fails, they shouldn’t go to jail cause they didn’t succeed.”
Agreed. There are a few BMWs I’d love to own but the brand carries the a$$hole stigma.
Yeah, well, it’s just a fuckin car. No one needs to die.
I’m sure arrest and jail will do fine rather than risking her becoming a permanent ward of the state due to severe head trauma.
