I recall a Lemons article that went into detail how tricky these Porsches can be to repair.

Be it Honda or Miata shopping I'd be more concerned about ownership history and aftermarket mods, a fresh stock S2000\Miata is well worth the extra penny.
I'd say the VW Type 3s a contender, basically take every fault of the VW Bug, give it added overhang, a poor front suspension setup, more rust issues, and make the engine bay really compact so theres no room to work on the engine.
You know, I want to believe that modern cars are very safe but when carmakers can't properly design something as simple as ignition, gas pedals, or headliner\wiring, you know theres something wrong.
If Toyota ever wants to advertise the space around a Tacomas engine, now they can officialy say "Theres enough space for a 7 foot snake!".
I'm surprised that there aren't that many white knight gifs going around!
I love how a silly joke has spawned rage and hate in the Holy White Nights of the Internet.
Wow, its like you didn't even read my last post, "No I do not hate the Panther".
No I do nothate the Panther, to be frank you seriously should not make assumptions on someone based on a few small posts over the internet.
No thanks, $24 grands too much for a car that I can't fit into, and that aftermarket CD player does NOT go with that interior.
I know Ford well enough that they don't put Ferrari-levels of engineering into their cars, except maybe the Pinto.
Its like these guys got their skills from Gran Turismo, and mannerisms.
So you're used to driving big engined cars and FFs then? Then of course you'd enjoy a cop-spec Panther, you don't mind the understeer.
I'll say this, they're the most fuel efficient heavy-class demo derby cars that you'll find.
850s about right, they're well known for bring a bit more advanced than RWD models, but fairly unreliable as well. They were Volvos turning point.
No thanks, I don't plan on getting arrested anytime soon. The handling might be good if you've never driven anything else.
240 oughta be on here, you know those front offset tests that so many modern cars have issue with? I saw one in the junkyard where the same damage had happened (and it said "Eat my Shorts" on the rear windows), throw on some new body panels and you could've driven it away. Well that and an engine since someone…
The slush will go soon enough, get a K-Car stick transmission and hook it up to the turbo. Might make a good lemons runner for $400.
The 960 is a RWD model, loosely related to the 700.
