@Altima NEO: I don't think commenters (starred or otherwise) should have the power to demote comments themselves. Quite frankly, I just wouldn't trust the community to be fair about it. We might see comments disappear because someone disagreed with them.
@That Gamer Guy: You don't need to make it in A Week in Comments to get starred. A Gawker editor can star you for any comment.
