Love that series. I remember reading a story about the making of Macross Plus and the director and some of the crew came over to the US for some flight time. They purposefully blacked out during their flight time because they felt that they couldnt convey that without having experienced it.

Same here. My wife and I got in to a stupid argument over the color of our daughters bottle. I saw it as more blue and she sees it more as purple. I tried saying over and over how color was perception and it was just a different way of looking at it and she kept insisting it was only purple. As I said...stupid.

That is true. Consider though that if the word did not get out and the show got canceled then all of those people working on the production would be out of a job and have to find a different series to work on.

I came here to say the same thing! It was the first thought I had reading this announcement. I worked at EB (yes Gamestop once had a competitor for those too young to know that) and the Panasonic version was the one I remember selling. Not that too many were sold really.

I have the same feeling with movies on TV. I will run across a movie on TV that I have on DVD or stored somewhere. I will watch the TV version instead even if the DVD version is better. Its a feeling that someone else out there is watching the same thing.

Yeah I can see that. The building right across the street from it fits right in too. The Fisher Building. Both are from the early 1900's back when Detroit was much more than it is now.

It looks like Cadillac Place in Detroit took the same type of approach. Though it came much later that Wrights building and is much less ornate. The general idea was that more offices had windows vs a traditional box type office building. A central core with wings off the sides.

Plus if he is the comic Ra's he won't be dead for long any way. Though the movies strayed away from the mystical parts of the characters stories.
