I came here to say the same thing. I am moving in to a Fios house soon (yay!!) and they charge $17 monthly for a standard DVR or $5 a month for a CableCard. So in the end it is $3 more per month to get this. Easily worth it.

I hate people sometimes. The irrationality of all this is insane.
I know you you feel. I have a bike I dont use enough. 30 min a day for a quick ride is what I try for. Just to enjoy the time to myself if for no other reason. To me it is as relaxing and calming as yoga is for some people.
I completely agree with the bike. The underlying mechanism hasnt really changed since it was invented. Its kind of funny to think that motorcycles started out as motorized bikes and that you can still find those motorized bike systems today. It just goes to show you that even though products change and evolve there…
Yeah I'm in FL. Everything is electric here so it would just be an outlet. I wish I could get gas but it is just not an option in most places. I know for a whole house tankless I would need some semi major electrical work done because of the amperage it requires. Its part of the reason I was considering a tankless…
Ah gotcha. Thanks for the tip on the tankless. I have heard that about them and was considering a point of use system but it sounds like that is even a bad idea.
A much bigger energy waste is your hot water heater. I am getting ready to get a new one and couldn't believe that little yellow tag when it said how much it would cost per year. Here in FL just about everything is electric which doesn't help. Still the hot water heater uses about 8-10 times as much as a refrigerator.…
So let me tell you a story...my wife and I were moving and most things had been cleared out of the apartment. I went to pick up the microwave and all of a sudden heard a crash followed by a splash followed by coffee coming out of the microwave. It turns out my mother in law used it to heat up her cup of coffee and…
As if Disney would miss an opportunity to make $$$$$$$. Hahahahahaha! I'm sorry but you apparently don't know Disney that well.
I was wondering if someone would bring up an iGen in this post. Glad to see I am not disappointed. Here is a pic for a better sense of scale.
That looks like Roz from the movie. The glasses are what gets me. Though you think she would have been out of there by the time Mike and Sully started classes.
Reading the article my thought was to have these in the upper cabinets. I would never want to put these in the lower cabinets.
I would say Next Generation starting in season 3 and then move on to DS9 starting at season 2. There is some character crossover which helps with the transition and season 1 of DS9 is really shaky. It sets up some things but the show didn't really know what it was trying to so. The final couple of seasons of DS9 are…
Those are nice. I am planning on swapping mine out for a set of those soon.
This is a pic of mine. The clip side tends to come up on top but it really isn't a big deal with normal shoes. I quickly learned a little foot flip and the platform side comes up. I got these a while ago when I didn't know about the other style that was also posted. The spike platform is more for a mountain bike and I…
I have a set that does both. It is a Shimano mountain bike pedal that is a clipless system on one side and a regular platform on the other. Its very nice if I am just heading out for a quick ride, someone else wants to use the bike, can't find the shoes...you get the idea. They are not for the weight conscious though.…
