Then how would we know they're announcing stuff? They do it so people know there will be an announcement to see, not to generate speculation. I prefer to watch these live whenever possible, so it helps knowing when to open the website.
They do it so that fans do exactly that. It generates hype for the game, and with only a month left I think we can expect more announcements and "leaks" to come.

I would say no. The general rule should be: don't color your face/skin for a costume to represent different races. If you can't pull off the costume without coloring your skin, then it was probably a shitty costume anyway.

It totally does, I was just being snarky. Nintendo's doing quite well and is sitting on a massive amount cash; they can handle one off console, and they've proved themselves time and time again. Look at Bushnell's track record, not just with Atari, and then try and resist comments about glass houses and stones :P
