Its not all that convoluted though, its exceedingly straightforward.

The whole “there’s too much zombie stuff” take doesn’t really sit right with me. Like, yeah, the same handful of tropes are done to death, but there’s still a fuck-ton of untapped ideas.

Simple. Instead of saying “you should love yourself!”, tell them the reasons why you love them.

I’ve never conceptually understood loving or hating yourself - those are emotions I really only feel for external entities (and even then only rarely).

She tried to use his fame for clout”

Oh come on.  She was talking about a thing while filming the show on a podcast about the show.

Saracen is playing starting quarterback for a team in Texas with state championship aspirations, working at the Alamo freeze, and taking care of his grandmother because his dad is overseas. He may not be a dad yet per se but that's some pretty responsible adulting.

I don’t see the point of this piece. The show doesn’t try to depict Eric Taylor as a perfect father. He’s a guy who often puts his coaching responsibilities ahead of his familial ones, sometimes to the serious detriment of his wife and children. He’s an old-fashioned guy with a good heart but disordered priorities.

I’d probably have a similar opinions to you, but Miyazaki did mention how much they were inspired by George’s work for Elden Ring.

George Martin himself was very open to us prioritizing the game systems and leaving out anything we didn’t want to explore – but it ended up not being like that. It ended up being a huge

Notoriously poor work ethic? He’s written a number of novels and has been a successful screenwriter. He still is a regular contributor to Wild Cards.

I mean, you could literally read his post. He says himself, he did world-building and background, history writing. He wrote to flesh out the world they were going to make a game in. That’s more than just names.

It specifically says that he was hired to write the backstory and lore, which would have little to do with the look, style, or sound.  Who the bosses are, what their background is, how the relate to each other and how the main character fits in would all be where Martin comes into play.  He wrote the story, From

As someone who enjoyed XIII and XIII-2, I’ll agree as long as we can all agree that Lightning Returns was genuinely, inarguably awful.

And the hyperbolic comment of the day goes to you sir, good on you.

the Xbox gaming icon John-177, better known as the Master Chief.

I love that their games are so divisive. Somehow even more fun enjoying a game knowing some dorks out there are really mad about it.

Wtf are you talking about? Unresponsive? I have never experienced tighter control than in a Souls game. You are a fool, or being purposely deceitful.

Wait, what souls game has janky and unresponsive controls?  There are some weapons that are slow and you have to get the hang of the timing, sure.  But every Souls game I’ve played has been very responsive.

I have good news for you: there are 1000 games already like that.
