That is a huge letdown, and a way to get a sucky movie the momentum it NEEDS by milking off of a genuinely great series.

The voiceover itself does not bother me that much. I expected it. What bothers me far, far more are:

John Leguizamo first you were a comic relief sloth in movie about pre-historic creatures and now you are a comic relief bird in a movie about pre-historic creatures. What an odd thing to be typecast as.

Oh god I've always thought it was the older creepy girl (who seemed to think of the zombies as pets) who was behind the rats but I didn't think of her as the killer until you said this. It makes perfect sense!
