You see the same thing in Dallas. While the whole Uptown thing is great for young singles, once they marry and start having kids they flee to suburbs like Frisco, McKinney and Plano (West). Unless DISD gets its act together, you will continue to see this pattern over and over.

Would love it if this proposal is still alive. I'm stuck in Dallas for the foreseeable future (aging parents, job situation, etc.), so anything to make this a better, world-class city is a bonus.
