As I said before, that is pretty depressing. I'd like to think that if I ever published a book (unlikely) I'd use my own name, but I imagine that saying that is easier than doing it, especially if it really can have an impact on sales. Do you see this alot in other genres outside of sci-fi/ fantasy like literary

I'm still wondering why Peter is so damn important... quite like the idea that it's because his existence allows for the Observer invasion but September did save Peter from the lake in the original blue verse timeline which he wouldn't do if he wanted to stop the invasion from happening. I've always assumed that the

Well this is really really really depressing... thank the old gods that my male friends have no such prejudices. I'm curious about those studies though, do you have any more information about them? I'm wondering if it's really the case that men won't by books buy female authors, or if the publishing industry just

Lady Dent was idling between the trees in the orchard, enjoying the solace they offered. Her home was full of diplomats from the west and she was tired of constantly entertaining her guests. The mid afternoon sun burnt hot above her and she settled down in the shade of her favorite tree absorbing the tranquility of

Aliens for life! I enjoy the Aliens plotline! I'm not sure the Aliens are real but I like that they are there.

I was living in denial for the past week... the nice doctor is so nice he CAN'T be Bloody Face. Then he convinced Kit to "confess" and the second he turned that tape recorder on and Kit starting talking I knew it was a done deal. I agree he isn't the present day Bloody Face unless he's a ghost or one of Arden's mutant

I think that if someone feels the need to fake an interest in, or knowledge of, something geeky to be accepted (what other motive could there be?) it says more about the subculture and community than the individual who feels like they need to pretend.

Arcadia has to be the single most epic festival stage ever created. Didn't know it was built out of ex military hardware though, makes it so much better.

I've seen this live a couple of times at different festivals. There is nothing like a pounding bassline, a packed dancefloor and an electricty battle high above you.

YAAAAAAAAAAY :) As glad as I was for the Tumblr page (top quality articles last week, really good work in such dire circumstances!) I'm so glad the site is back up and running. IO9 has the best commenters on the whole internet and I really missed reading what everyone has to say. Of course this inconveniance was minor

Want this ending so badly. Is the book worth reading?

I watched it on LoveFilm in England, but I think it was the edited version unfortunatley. I'm curious about what is in the longer cut but don't know if I could sit through it again.

Wow! This actually helps a little. Here I was thinking that poor Rolph and Snitter had drowned. I wish I had seen this posr before I went to bed last night.

I just watched plague dogs for the first time this morning. It broke me.

Just a heads up you might want to put a spoiler warning on this. There is a pretty big give away about a certain character who is going to show up in the mini that readers of season 9 might not want to know about... unless it's allready common knowledge and I've been living with my head in the ground these past few
