is that what I said? or is this what I said: “For people who aren’t like me—we’ll call them ‘normal’ fans, no disrespect intended”
This is basically it. It’s not about pandering. It’s about respect. I believe the canon reboot had to happen, and I assumed it would from the day Disney bought LucasFilm. But it was inevitable that it was going to take some time to deal with — I’d planned on staying away from all this ancillary shit until after The…
what’s the framerate
30fps is better
the great thing about movies is they’re short. I get more ornery about games I dislike because they aren’t short.
they aren’t doing this in Black Ops 3 either. Probably the tradeoff for campaign co-op.
“He needs four scissor blades to make a shiv that breaks the first time he uses it”
House of the Dead is bad in a fun way, but Alone in the Dark is just unwatchable. Dungeon Siege is hilarious.
I was about 8 hours sober when I saw it.
Yeah it’s the reflexive businessspeople “EXISTING IP DO THAT SHIT” mindset, but carrying video game branding has baggage if you don’t sell it super well.
PWZ has a pretty legit cult following. You are not alone.
The funnest thing about being a writer is making fun of something and everybody assuming I’m the thing I’m making fun of because of it.
i logged onto it a few months ago on pc and there were like 200 people during primetime. it was sad

not just talking about plots. try explaining, in detail, crafting in The Last Of Us to somebody who doesn’t play games.
well, you notice all these people in these comments saying COD ripped off Titanfall? That’s why they released it that way, to beat AW. If AW had come out first they’d be saying the opposite. Two games, in dev at the same time by people who used to work together.
If you think of The Bureau as existing halfway between XCOM and AP when you play I think you’ll be OK. I think folks rejected it before because it looks like a standard third person squad shooter but it really isn’t. And you know how we get when a game works differently than we expect.
The Bureau is like the first Mass Effect except the game forces you to micromanage your squad’s powers and position during battle. I think the perception was that it was just a standard third-person shooter but if you think of it that way it really fucks up your ability to roll with what it’s actually doing, which is…
I love Titanfall. It’s a bummer that playerbase plummeted so hard. By the time Respawn finally turned it into pretty much a full game most folks had left. All this week I’ve been thinking “man i wish there were people still on titanfall so I can play after this beta ends”
This is the story of video games. It’s all good until you try to explain anything to somebody who isn’t into them. Then it’s like “oh, I’m pretty much speaking a different language, huh”
