My impression is that they are bound to the Shadow somewhat against their will. Vincent says in on panel, “...When the hell is my DEBT paid?”

The Alec Baldwin film is ridiculously underrated.
I’m pretty sure I have all the novels in PDF and most of them in EPUB. Archive.org has several Shadow radio programs available for download. If you go to their site do a search for “The Shadow” including the quotes and you should find them.
Off topic...Archive.org also has, I believe, all of the Dimension X and X-1…
That sounds better than BOTH Alien prequels!
I’m surprised at how fun it looks despite Maximus droning on and on and sporting terrible facial hair.
Not only that, but most of their trailer screentime is getting captured, while the guys get speaking roles and/or action scenes. It’s too early to say much about the show, but it certainly isn’t a great look from the trailer.
Don’t insult Barry!
Not true!
Seriously. How the hell was Medusa held by two guards while her hair just... sat there flat?
Admittedly, it’s not an ideal version, I would’ve rather had a movie myself, but I’m still gonna watch it because I’m curious to see what they do with it. The actors are all pretty good from what I’ve seen prior, the FX are passable, I just hope everything else is too.
Robocop vs. Terminator was a fucking awesome comic, followed by an awesome Sega Genesis game.
...or was it the other way around?
If they could do some “Tara Chace” style adventures from Queen and Country, with the minders running under M, might be able to spin off some world building there.
The most impressive and interesting thing the English language can do is change and adapt. Why test drive if you’re just going to leave it in third gear the whole time?
I am not even close to black and I am at a loss for words about all those gramps here flipping out because of an old ass word like “extra”.
Seemed pretty obvious to this old geezer. Sounds like somebody just needs to get all their cranky out early.
The first time I heard ‘extra’ used in that sense was when I was going out with a Jamaican girl in about 1979 / 1980. So while I can accept it isn’t common parlance in your personal milieu it wasn’t dreamed up in the past 12 months.
Even after a great season, AoS is still about 75% crap.
Netflix customers have watched 500 million hours of Sandler on Netflix.
This reminds me of how the first looks at AoS made us all nervous...but at the same time this just feels off.
Those rumors of ABC wanting to punt this off to Netflix are starting to sound believable. This looks like it may be a rough ride.
