Why is an admission like “God inspired me to write and/or sign this legislation” not a clear enough breach of federal law, specifically the Establishment Clause of the 1st Amendment, to immediately trigger both a lawsuit to strike down said law and impeachment proceedings against the lawmaker or executive in question?

I don’t care if 3 billion profit is a margin of 0.01% on total revenue. If they made $3 billion more than they spent in a single year, and their employees are suffering, they can do better by them. They can do better right up until they’re $1 in the black, and anything else is lying, disingenuous One Percenter, Nuveau…

It’s even worse than it looks.  Most types of airline fees are considered “cost recovery” and therefore not taxable revenue.  So look forward to paying $500 in fees for a $200 fare in the near future, and then wondering why public infrastructure and services are falling apart.
