Your list is a bit more comprehensive than the one I had in the post about The Wonderful 101 Remastered, and I’d be down for a lot of these (and most of the ones I’m not are because I’m fine with the 3DS version and because I’m not playing The Skyward Sword again unless they revamp the controls to ditch the motion Read more

Chanaluss made it sound better than the main series, so I’m with you on that.

I suppose I did. I'm not a Pikmin fan so I haven't been following that franchise. As for Xenoblade, is that different than the one on the 3DS or the one on the Switch? I might have missed it.

Oh, so The Wonderful 101 is coming to Switch? Then I think we're down to just Super Mario 3D World before every good Wii U-exclusive gets ported to the Switch.

Everything you said, plus what the hell is going on with the cluster of lights on above the red and on the tailgate door? That’s way too much real estate for reverse lights, and if they’re supposed to be like backward-pointing headlights that’s just dumb. Read more

Unfortunately, as a PC gamer the closest thing I have to physical media are the Steam Wallet cards at Target.

I kind of want a new laptop to replace the Razer Blade I bought almost five years ago, but I also don't think a 1650 is a huge upgrade over a 970M. And none of it's going to beat my desktop anyway.

I’m in the market for a new monitor, and in my price range I can have a higher resolution or a higher refresh rate, not both. Right now I’d rather have a 27" 4K IPS at 60Hz than a 27" 1080p IPS at 144-240Hz, let alone whatever 360Hz will cost.  Probably going to pick up an LG 27UK850-W.

Well, to be totally fair to the Kotaku staff, some of the games on their list are probably really great, but I don’t like battle royale games and most strategy games, and that’s 3 out of their 10. And some of the other games on their list, like Control and Sekiro, are games that didn’t make my cut simply because I Read more

Interesting. Not a one of these games make my personal top 10. I guess I have very different tastes from the Kotaku staff.

I got the Showa-era Godzilla Criterion boxset on Blu-ray. I had to order it for myself, and my wife didn’t even bother to wrap it, but I’m still happy.

Siege is great. I mean, between poor distribution and figures getting smaller and more hollow I actually swore off buying official Transformers, but I decided I’d at least check out Siege Optimus and Megatron. I’d say yes to everything on this list except Solo; to date it’s the only Star Wars movie I’ve seen that had me checking my watch in the theater to see if it was almost over. I think the idea of Han and Chewie flying around and having adventures before Episode IV would make for good TV, but as a movie it was two hours Read more
