This article is a pretty good summary of why I abandoned DC comics, except for self contained graphic novels like All Star Superman that are outside of and apart from the DC continuity clusterfuck.

The Dark Knight Rises effectively ruined the whole trilogy for me, to the point where I went from loving the first film and liking the second one, to not wanting to watch either.

I was deeply unimpressed by Ant-Man. Their treatment of both Janet and Hope sucked.

I hated MIB2, and didn’t see the third one. I’d be glad to see this series rebooted with the 21 Jumpstreet team.

Goyer is human garbage and the fact that he’s allowed to play with these characters is a disgrace.

I love that idea. J’onn is such an interesting character. I recently read John Ostrander’s Martian Manhunter series, and it was fantastic.

I thought it would be cool to have Doom be the Premier of Latveria, and to secretly be the funding source behind the Baxter research center. He steals / sabotages the tech, and gets his powers; the FF go in as humans to try and stop him, and come out also having gotten powers.

And the Blue Ranger was Jewish.

We tried to make something coming from a more dramatic standpoint so we’re hoping that people enjoy it and recognize that we’re trying to do something original.

He should be sued for those millions of dollars in lost tourism revenue. Make the fucker sell his house and cash in his 401k.
