Serious or sarcasm?

When you look at a problem and can’t understand why something was done sometimes it’s because you are a visionary inventor. Other times it’s because you don’t know enough to know why your idea isn’t going to work.

Isn’t it good? I especially love that these people also don’t know the first thing about rockets and assume the experts are idiots.

Why would you need to write it down? Twenty pieces of data isn’t much to remember. Maybe this is a failure of my imagination to understand how other people’s memory works. My brain latches onto names and numbers easily

Are you an idiot? They're doing an attempt again today. With a payload. It works, you are not an engineer. Go away

They are able to land, they have proven that. What you seem to be missing: these rockets had carried goods! This wasn’t just a dummy test it was a commercial payload that successfully made it to orbit.

Accuracy and they only work in a nice thick atmosphere.

And what is the excellent alternative? If you want to glide you need something wing shaped. Parachutes and a water landing only works where you have liquid water and results in high cost and slow recovery.

We already know the cost of this thanks to the shuttle program. It ain't cheap

Not all bodies we want to land on or launch from have atmosphere

I guess you missed the part where that is more or less a test bed for a Mars network

I never said HARDWARE, I said platform. Do you understand what that is? The PS4 is running a fork on FreeBSD while the XB1 is running some modified version of the NT kernel. Add to that the shared nature of the memory in the PS4 which is an oddity of architecture that you don’t see on the PC side(which is exactly why

The bane of gaming are console people who that splitting the vote and having two unique platforms to develop for is better than one to target. Seriously, go away

There’s no debt to society, there is no giving back lives. She is dangerous and should be put away until she winds up in the ground.

Asking for it? Fuck your self.

I used to manage a fast food place, I had plenty of cars towed for this sort of asshattery. We even had this clearly marked out space you could never park, as our delivery trucks needed to go there. At least once a week I would be getting someone's car hauled out of there

Nope, you’ve hit the nail on the head.

Yup, good money says that like many amazing breakthroughs production yields will be low and non-economical

It wasn’t of this design. It was cooled with water fed by pumps, during the disaster the generators powering those pumps as backups got taken out.

The reason I say your $500 figure is laughable is because its actually FAR too low. In CAD, tax and AppleCare+ all in I walked out with a $1000+ bill for the iPhone 6 64GB unlocked.

It’s not the sense of a tried and true product, nor some impression that it uses “better” parts(I work in operations, I know all too well
