They are now! :D
They are now! :D
Gosh yes, definitely just like this! Toss in walnuts or pine nuts and holy cow, to die for. Roasted brussels sprouts are my absolutely favorite, hands down, no question about it vegetable dish. *drool*
Yeah, there is something disturbing about that particular picture. It’s not the attractively-trussed roasted goodness that it should have been. Maybe the example of how they shouldn’t look once cooked?
Fantastic news!
Exactly what I will do now. :)
I dream about making beautiful pizza crusts. No seriously, it’s that ridiculous. So anything that might give us a means to safely consume gluten again, I am very excited for.
“Getting people to act against their own self-interest is what I do for a living.” Well if that’s not just the best puppet master line ever... O.O
I loved Brave, so much more than Frozen and slightly more than Tangled, but I really do not get why others didn’t like it. :/
Thank you for sharing this. I’m a mess of tears and excited jitters now. :)
Brussels sprouts are my absolute favorite vegetable. The first frost of the year comes and it is all magical, roasted, wonderfulness... I’m going to go have some time to myself now.
I carry my daughter’s Epi-pen and have no qualms with setting it front-and-center on the table when we’re about to order, just to let them know this is serious. I’ve only had to do it once but that was with an obnoxious server who was quickly replaced by the manager. We do everything we can to make the requests as…
Beautiful short story. I’d love to see more of these around here, even if it does feed the procrastination monster.
Yay! More Edna, please let there be so much more of Edna Mode.
They don't fill me with awe, but they do remind me of religious hypocrisy.
lol! I love this so much.
My daughter is allergic to apples, peaches, almonds—she breaks out in hives in and around her mouth. Yet if I cook those same things, she can eat them without a reaction. I'd never heard of oral allergy syndrome before now and I've been dragging her to the allergy clinic for the past five years for treatments, so…
This would help writers learn to tighten up their prose. It's easy to vomit 80,000 words out but as you said, so much of it is simply filler. Personally I think the comeback of novellas is wonderful news for the aspiring author.
In the books you get a much better sense of how torn, and how truly helpless, Claire is in her situation. The show has to condense all of that down to fit into an episode or two, making it seem like Frank is a disposable figure in her life. They would have had to dedicate at least an entire season to the time that…
Agreed! I really don't like the beard thing at all, but prettily trimmed like this I can handle. ;)
I had a long rant about this a while back somewhere on gawker. I don't like the fact that the old age of millenials is lumped in with the young. The reason is that the "generation" division is too long now for how fast technology as moved. Watch a lot of younger people today and you see a world that is not used to…
