but there was never a “the truth” part! just the general idea of cardio and a healthy diet then?

I am 5'10, and I have fluctuated from 185 to 215 over the last 10 years. I am currently 195. I always see the best weight reduction when I eat better and run more. Nothing else drops the pounds like running and eating right.

I Kinja’ed about this in another article about Discovery. Non-serialized TV was mostly a necessity back before Netflix and DVRs. Back then, if you missed an episode, you missed it. At least until it showed up again in a summer re-run or in syndication. Sure, VCRs have been a thing for a lot longer, but you had to

STILL TOO SOON

This episode reminded me a lot about the arguments around women feeling like they have to carry all of the emotional labor in a couple and even men’s attempts at “helping” can manifest as them barreling over women to try to “fix” a problem without real consideration for what it is they want and how they’d like to be

One great thing about this episode is that Rebecca finally got her wish from all of last season: Paula is completely integrated into her girl group. In typical Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fashion Rebecca gets what she wanted, but she no longer even remembers that was what she wanted.

Oh god I so hope this is the opening volley in the labor battle that destroys the NFL

No, we aren’t in those positions; our positions are infinitesimally worse. So no, we frankly aren’t going to to bother “looking at it from this perspective”, because we don’t feel sorry for you.

It’s a lot like when a man has a cold. Somehow we become huge helpless babies about it (I do this too, but also dramatically refuse help). But we never do anything to actually help our cold. Same with this, we could, I dunno, just stop harassing women or whatever. But then we couldn’t loudly complain about the

No, it’s passive-egressive behavior. They are shutting women out as punishment for their colleagues’ not being allowed to do whatever they want to them.

I recommend watching the show and never talking to strangers about it.
