I keep seeing articles doing these mental gymnastics, but longtime comic book readers know the TRUE answer is:

My dude, this is, like, the longest winded way of saying “It’s only a movie, but also, don’t be an asshole”.

Great write-up, Chris. It really takes me back to the days when I would spend my part time job money to get my Saturn modded. Sure, I eventually bought a Playstation, but Sega’s most infamous misstep will always hold a special place in my heart.

Oh man, what a way to answer all the Switch port beggars. Dare I say this feels like Atlus was annoyed to high heaven with all the requests, and in response, created an all new game just to say “sure, you can have P5...but not really”.

I agree with you, but Toshiro Tsuchida, the man who created and gave Front Mission its particular flavor, hasn’t worked for Square-Enix in years.

The developer’s vision is sacrosanct...unless they want me to stop using mods in their game. In that case, they can go f*** themselves.

The Guardian Ape also feels like an in-joke from FromSoft to their longtime fans. What happens when you try to employ the tried and true SoulsBorne tactic of “get behind and hit dat ass”? The ape releases a poisonous fart cloud.

I can see this story getting telephoned into:

I was drawn to the umbrella strictly for the opening/closing animation alone.

Wanted to edit my original post, but it’s over 15 min. Just to be clear, I’m not a fan of the DQ movie’s look either. Frankly, I wish they’d put in the time to figure out a style like Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse; something that is clearly 3d, but also incorporates and pays homage to its 2d roots.

I’m gonna have to disagree. DQXI did an incredible job translating Toriyama’s style into 3D, but it really doesn’t give off the same feel as his manga or even the tv show. As for Dragon Ball Super Broly, it’s a perfect example against your position, not for it. That movie is 2d animation at its finest and probably

Ouch, that’s rough. Have you tried jumping rope? It’s less of a commitment than running and it pairs really well with body weight exercises. That’s pretty much my routine and my workouts rarely go over 30 min.

Spike isn’t intentionally Jewish. His last name is Spiegel because the producers thought the name “Spike Spiegel” sounded cool. On the flip side, they also haven’t said “don’t think of him as Jewish”, so like many things with this series, much of it left to the interpretation of the viewer.

Christ, this same article comes out every time FromSoft releases a game. Here’s the bottom line: people can argue till they’re blue in the face, but it’s been ten years, six games and absolutely ZERO “easy” difficulty settings. If Miyazaki and his team didn’t budge on DS3 or Bloodborne, they sure as hell aren’t

Heather, “Does Dante fuck?” IS NOT a throwaway question. That’s serious lore question. But, considering your time with Itsuno-san was limited, I’m thankful you prioritized talking about mechanics.

The skills I’m opening through killing the same enemies over and over, then resting to respawn them, don’t seem to be helping me much.

Good Lord, I think the last time I touched a Samsho character was CvS2's version of Nakaruru.

Sekiro reminds me a lot of playing fighting games. I can high crush lows, side-step counter, or go for EVO moment #37 (stand your ground, parry EVERYTHING perfectly, then follow up with massive damage). All in all, I’m having a great time with it; probably because it reflects my favorite genre rather well.

Let me be clear. I’m not opposed to digital, I’m opposed to streaming being the only option. That discless Xbox is effectively a PC. We can download a copy to a hard drive and enjoy it regardless if our internet speed is awesome or not. That’s not the case with Stadia. Mind you, I’m someone who lives an area with

Nobody? Wish I had your confidence. Sadly, I can definitely see an audience for Stadia and that’s what has me worried. My hope is that they’re not numerous enough to give Google any significant power in the gaming space. Last thing I want is for the other big players to see the success of streaming only and follow
