Wasn’t there for the sex. Was with my wife (so, no, nobody wanted to have sex with me heh)

I’m sure. And every last one of them is wrong. Sort of like how you can find articles everywhere about how Japan is a sex obsessed country. Go for yourself.
You are utterly wrong.
True fact - I’ve never done drugs at Burning Man.
Yeah its way more mundane in that regard than you make it out to be
You’re completely wrong. Yes, you can read. But if you only read about Obama on Fox News’ site, you might have a certain impression that might be slightly skewed
This is an utter mischaracterization of the diversity of experience that is Burning Man. That’s like saying New York is Chinatown-themed city. It has a Chinatown. A few, in fact! But would you really summarize it with that fact? Similarly you shouldn’t summarize Burning Man in this way.
When I’ve been to Burning Man, I saw very little sexual activity or themes and relatively little drugs. This may have to do with the “neighborhoods” I chose to spend my time in.
While present at Burning Man, THIS IS NOT BURNING MAN
Never was. Kid’s have always been part of it. But you’d be forgiven for not noticing. They tend to stick to different “neighborhoods” of the Playa.
Again, this is your notion of Burning Man, not what it actually is or was intended to be.
I think people have preconceived notions of what Burning Man is and what good parents are, and anything that doesn’t fit that mold gets judged (like here, judgement as “shit parents”.) While I’m sure plenty of Burner parents are godawful, bringing one’s children to Burning Man does not in and of itself make one a…
My recommendation is try someplace high-end to acquire a taste for it - it should be creamy, almost like smooth peanut butter. Bad uni is bad.
So...this means that the entire population of gentrified Brooklyn is going to complain about their depression again instead of their gluten sensitivity?
Uni, for me, took many, many tries. It ultimately took Yasuda’s (NYC great sushi spot) uni to flick a switch in me that made me absolutely love it.
Oysters, though, I still can’t appreciate. I can eat them just fine. I just don’t enjoy it. And why pay good money for something that you can merely tolerate?
I’ve tried. Oh, how I’ve tried. But yeah, I just can’t get into dried squid.
The next justifiable genocide will be against those who find cilantro “absolutely disgusting.” We must purify the world, rid it of these people. With fire.
Similar to how they’ve revolutionized overseas assassinations, I see this revolutionizing mass murder domestically. Imagine it! Guy is in the back of a van with dark windows, piloting his quadcopter, buzzing around and killing people at sporting events...street corners...the mall! Who wants to bet we have stricter…
Flawless quality diamonds can now be created quite easily in labs, of such quality that the industry has insisted they be inscribed with lasers so that they can be identified as lab-created so as to not interfere (as much) with the mined gems. The whole industry is a crock.
I would tend to agree. Drawing media attention to cyber bullying that led someone to jump from a bridge is a worthwhile endeavor, particularly when it deters others from doing the same, hopefully by outing the bullies and destroying their lives.
