Sorry for missing last week’s leaderboard, everyone! This week’s question is brought to you by (grrr) my broken streak: What are your favorite tricks for keeping up with a habit? This can be something you do for Duolingo or any other habit you have but might struggle to do regularly.

Last week I asked you guys for help picking a backpack color... and while there was a clear winner (gray), there were enough people who said “ehhhh maybe not Herschel” that I went back to square one. And because I hate making decisions on my own, I’m back with some more options for you!

Since I’m starting grad school in the fall, I’ve decided that there’s no way I can carry a laptop and notebook AND all the other crap I take to work every day in my already-pretty-big purse. So for the first time since high school, I’ve decided to buy a backpack. I’ve narrowed it down to three choices but I need help…

I’m sure a lot of us are in weird moods today, so this week’s question is short and simple: What are your favorite words in another language? It can be something with a meaning you really like, a word that’s fun to say—anything is fair game.

I realized later than usual that wait, it’s Sunday! I have tomorrow off and am apparently in the Saturday mindset today. With that in mind: Do you have trouble keeping up with Duolingo when your routine changes for a day? Do you have any tricks for keeping on track?
