If it's anything like the PS3, then my guess is whatever will be available at 9.5mm of thickness (up to 1.5TB at the time of this writing).
A footnote should be added under the Vertical View picture stating that the stand is not included in the retail packaging and will be sold separately (Amazon America doesn't seem to have it but it's £15.99/€24.95 in Europe and ¥2,394 in Japan so maybe $20-25 in the U.S.).

Thinking about it now, PS5 should totally come out in time for the Tokyo Olympics 2020. We may even have a special Olympics edition. Makes sense; five Olympics rings (and the Book of 5 rings) and the 5 in the PS.
It's deeper than the XB1 (30.5cm vs 27.6cm). This is actually representing an issue for me. It's about 1cm too deep for the place I've intended to place it in. Now I have to invest an additional ¥2400 to buy the vertical stand and place it next to the monitor.
