Anyone else think that the guardian's going to die to fuck us up emotionally?
WAT
Anyone else see shit like this coming when they Activision bought Blizzard? Anyone? Is anyone genuinely surprised?
@Shadowlayer: Your argument = FAIL. I own a touch device and it's grand. Not grand for playing fighting games, per se, but definitely fantastic for top-down shooters, and more than adequate for both of the titles that this article is about.
The problem with GameLoft is that they're good at putting all of the gameplay ingredients together, but the product always end up soulless. The Soul Calibur clone "Blades of Fury," the God of War "clone" "Ghost of Sparta," the Call of Duty clone "Sandstorm," and the GTA clone "Gangstar" were all games that I purchased…
"...created the console's music visualizers..."
@registeraccount21: Umm... Did you ever play through any of the games until you become Super Sonic? I remember every Sonic game having at least a kind of space element. Some of them even had space levels. o_O
Is Robotnik still called Eggman? Because that's still just as fucking stupid as it's always been. I can fear a man named Robotnik. Eggman? Please.
@mintycrys will Vanquish you!: I'm just happy to see someone use the term "straw man argument" on Kotaku. Thank you. ^_^
Holy crap. The trailer made me giddy. This puts me in a state of awe.
I like how they don't even bother with his nose. Aversion to controversy?
@Thut: Gameplay is all up to Level 5, and White Knight Chronicles doesn't exactly give me much faith. Plot? Ghibli. EVERYTHING THEY'VE EVER DONE gives me faith.
Duck tree? Duck tree.
@hurricanedj: Patenting motion controls is one thing. Creating something that mimics the EXACT design of the Wii while addressing its shortcomings (wireless nunchuck, glowing balls and PSeye vs. crappy infrared) is pretty shameless copying.
Uh... how legal is this?
@TigerKnee: Choke is needlessly hyped for reasons I have yet to figure out. Survivor is seriously kinetic. Most people I've spoken to who have read it finished it within 24 hours, and these are people who don't generally read too much.
This could be the fantastic of fantastics.
Please. Please let this be the beginning of a movement ushered forth by Demon's Souls. That and Ninja Gaiden Black have cemented themselves in my mind forever with their unforgettable feeling of accomplishment, as has Halo: CE's "Assault on the Control Room" on Legendary.
Ugh. Didn't the team that makes Tekken practically decry TTT as unofficial? I still don't understand how something that's a single mode in other games gets the full-game treatment like this.
