Am I forbidden from spending the day generously applying body filler to all those vent “holes” and making it not so ugly? I’ll even run it through Maaco.

I totally agree. But I didn’t like the red side mirrors so I went to Toyota’s website and built one to see what it’s like without. I was surprised to discover they offer a soft top option, so I added that as well.

I had the brother to the Maxima, the infinity I30t and absolutely loved that car. It was quick enough and rode great. But like others have mentioned, rust ate these things alive. Mine had 230k on it and it still ran awesome but it just fell apart. I still miss it to this day.

They have always done both targa and true vert versions. You must not see many convertible Vettes. I’d argue that they run in too down mode even more than Miatas or s2000s.

But also, don’t bank too much on a customer base that’s aging out/dying off. Or you’ll actually end up like Harely Davidson.

Counterpoint: We should be buying an Accord 2.0T 6MT Sport right now. It’s the best damn sedan on the market, IMO.

Everybody assumes Jesse didn’t stop because he didn’t want to hand over the keys to his car after losing to Johnny Tran, but if you think about it, the real reason is obvious. He didn’t stop because he couldn’t stop. He had already removed the Jetta’s brakes for weight reduction.

I don’t do caffeine so much when driving.  What I really need, to keep me awake, is my copilot/navigator to talk to me.  It’s cool if she sleeps but if I start to blink long, I have to wake her up.  I’m good for hours on end if someone will talk to me during my drowsy periods.
