@Madhotdog: Well, in the movie the whole POINT is that both Red Mist and Kick-Ass are actually total nerds, so it works :)
@sansa: To answer your question: Yes, he does. He's still Nicholas Cage, but he's the alternate-universe, actually-fun Nicholas Cage.
@VincentGrey: 1: Cage doesn't actually have too much screen time. When he does, though, he steals the show. Trust me: He works in this one. This is coming from someone who knows he's done some really crap stuff.
@jargy1: Suit yourself! Cage has pulled some stinkers lately, but he's ace in this one. It's one of those movies where you can tell that the actor's really having fun with his part.
@Slanzinger: Alundra is generally a game that needs more attention. Its only faults were a little lack of direction and some frustrating jumping puzzles. Otherwise, it's awesome (and dark) from beginning to end.
@MrPerson: And finally, the Dark World theme from Zelda 3. Anyone who's played this game past its halfway point will remember this song.
@MrPerson: And really, the Moon stage from Duck Tales. By some considered the ultimate NES tune.
@MrPerson: Also, Chrono Cross. The whole game has a wonderful soundtrack. But the intro is really the unforgettable piece here.
@MrPerson: And really, no list like this is complete without some version of "Bloody Tears" from the Castlevania games. Here, have the Castlevania 4 version.
The first game that I haven't seen in any of the comments, and thus feel the need to promote, is the SNES game "Plok". Tim Follins made the music for it, as far as I can remember, and much like any of the stuff he's composed, it rocks. This particular game rivals the Donkey Kong Country games in making the SNES sound…
@HitBit: Yeah, a Game Boy emulator would make sense. Though I'm not sure how well the directional controls would work anyway.
@Fernando Jorge: My thoughts exactly! Half the point of the demonstration in the beginning is to show you how to play the gaaaame.
@jewosh:
@Robotic-Richard-Simmons: Gets teddyous if it goes on for too long, though.
@silverhold: This guy are sick.
Hmm. Looks like sort of a puzzler to me. I mean, full-on point-n-click SCUMM-style adventure game. Here's Some Bears, Now Figure Out How To Kill Them Creatively.
@Archaotic: We all mashed buttons to get past cutscenes and into the game itself. Verdict: Plausible!
@James Henderson: Couldn't you have a second person input commands in the battles? Or was that just FF6?
