Ben, not Henry. Ben was the one at the end with the matches.
Which is how it should be. The point is no one knows what Dredd looks like and there was a running joke about it.
then there's the Urban Dredd where you NEVER see his face.
That is some VERY Frank Quitely-esque artwork there. I actually like it a lot. It’s not quite as arrestingly inventive as Quitely himself but it’s definitely taken lessons on how to lay out a page and tell a nice clear story as well as just emulating his linework.
I’m betting Starfox.
Just can’t wait to see who exactly this guy turns out to be... besides Peter’s dad, of course.
I don’t see the problem.
Except First Class was excellent and DOFP was bloated
Spoilers (yes, I know this is Morning Spoilers):
It is honestly a fantastic way to place the movie in the story. It acts as a good intro to the general public since they are starting over, while also helping fans who feared all of the required changes.
This is a really exciting way to keep the story interesting and not have to worry about cries of “why isn’t this exactly like the books?!”
Holy shit holy shit holy shit I’ve been saying for years I want the first shot of Dark Tower to be the horn on his belt signifying that the movie is the next cycle and not a pure adaptation and HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT THE HORN GUYS! THE HORN!
A+ for that reference. More people need to read Promethea.
It looks like the Painted Doll from Promethea
I think that really only works though if the character is well established/well liked, and Quicksilver just wasn’t important enough to make that kind of impact - it was like one level above a redshirt dying. They don’t even ever mention Red Witch losing her brother in Civil War that I can recall.
Yeah, but if the article was titled, “Netflix Being a Responsible Company” who would click on that?
No worries, all will be well. As long as the people stick around I won’t go away, though I will probably be a bit more bored. I don’t care that deeply about every detail of every movie and show, especially without the recaps.
Given the recent staff turnover, I’m guessing it will take a while for i09 to build up some institutional memory again.
