The game's ui pretty much is an overlay for spreadsheets, though. Remove the pretty space graphics, and what you have is a whole bunch of objects and their relative positions to each other.

You can modify the cars shape and change it's drag coefficient, but you can not slap on a turbine and create more energy than you expend just to lug the extra drag around. This device MUST produce less energy than the drag caused by pushing it through the air. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. This might be a nice thing to put on your car while parked on a windy day - assuming it can track the wind.
