I thought I would never have to do this. But look at my fancy little county with its “practicing” modifier on its jury (dis)qualifications. Eat a dick, my county. So I get to have to be on a jury or four next month.

Happy for Joanna to get the shout out. Worried this means we’re about to lose her, too. She just keeps getting better, right?

Happy Saturday, folks. The last 24 hours has been a whirlwind of good and bad news, and it got me to thinking: What do y’all listen to when the world is blowing up around you and you need to remind yourself that this too shall pass?

Hey, y’all remember that Jackie girl? The one from that UVA rape story. Remember how she probably lied about at least some of her allegations? That was bad. So we should probably go ahead and start naming all accusers when reporting on rape cases, dontcha think? Paul Farhi is just asking.

I get that it’s the weekend, but seriously? This was Gawker’s coverage of the debate?

Only a sucker gives up a free lunch.

I had a friend from college visit this weekend, which meant we dug deep into my hard drive to find some old pregame songs last night. Digging through that old folder, I saw something that he didn’t; or that he was kind enough to pretend he didn’t.

This one’s for the heartbreakers. We all have one or two or a dozen. Those artists that discover you as much as you discover them. They’re perfect. Until suddenly they’re not. They’ve changed in a way that you can’t accept or forgive.

Tonight we have hate, ignorance, and shame. And I hear tell she’s bringing along her sex idiot, too. That’s right, the single worst person to ever set foot in the BB house is back. Apparently she has an announcement or whatevwhocaresgoaway. My guess: first BB baby (Damian, obvi).
