Thanks. I also wanted to say that I agree that this is in all likelihood not an isolated example (beyond Gregg's other teams), and the NFL is certainly being disingenuous in its reaction.

I'm going to agree with GardenStateOfMind on this one. Of course football is violent, but it's violent within certain constraints. That's why there are penalties for fouls committed by players (see: unnecessary roughness for one particular example). But to have in place a system that incentivizes players to go beyon

That would be the greatest thing ever.

Is Hamm the mysterious Footsteps Falco?

I would say yes. There are several reviews over the years of classic films that I would say speak to his great abilities as a writer. I've heard from several people that his various books also have some great writing. It's "remarkableness" just may not appear all the time.

I loved the weariness of Ebert's review of this film. The last paragraph is fantastic:

Do you think the townsfolk will ever find Hamster Huey's head?

(International) Noise Conspiracy; The Walkmen; and the Besnard Lakes in an absolutely tiny venue that they played like an amphitheater.

But whither John Jackson, his bitter rival?

The original quote also included the type of car Justin Dowdy drove.

I just want to say 'Kudos' to the slot receiver.

Excellent.

"I don't want big money. I just want to play."

Past couple of months, I found myself asking people about certain songs, and noted that three of them were T. Rex songs. Bought the Greatest Hits and Electric Warrior, and am slowly devouring them.

Mother Night is incredible. Plus, the one your handle references ain't too bad either.
