That $60k markup is hilarious.
It’s gotta be missing a zero at the end. That’s just entirely too nice and clean.
I don’t care if it has a manual, or an IMS bearing update, or super low miles (that’s not necessarily a good thing for a 15 year old M96). No one should be paying $54k for a freakin 996 convertible.
If I was going to build a GT3 for canyon carving, it would basically end up like this one.
991.1 Targa with GT3 body.
That’s rather surprising. I wonder what engine will be used now.
Update: The refund is finally being processed by my CC company. I’ll still likely never deal with this stealership again.
It’ll make do with a 425bhp version of the previous GT4's 3.8 liter engine.
$8k doesn’t get you nearly as much GTV as it used to.
That a GT350 will consume as much oil (up to a quart every 500 miles!!) as a 997.1 that needs an engine rebuild...and that Ford says this is okay.
10k for this thing, and it won’t even drive.
In order to replace the air filters on a 991.1, you have to remove the rear bumper and the tail lights.
Perhaps this will be a ZR2 with a high performance powerplant to try and compete with the raptor?
Unfortunately, I can’t find the option to convert it into an RS4 Avant.
