Congratulations you didn’t even read the article YOU posted. There hasn’t been a seatrial to date. So far it’s still a technology demonstrater.

Except it has a 24lbs warhead compared to the tomahawk’s 1000lbs. And is designed for salvos. It is accurate for artillery but isn’t a sniper rifle. 1 target may require 5-10 shells. Suddenly that tomahawk was a steal...

You have repeatedly said rail gun which this system is not. Please go research this more before rambling on and on. Second the best currently reported rail gun firings are only a fraction of the KE of many currently fielded systems. Sure they have fantastic penetrating power but over all damage to ship to ship warfare

Also the most powerful rail gun to date has 36MJ of destructive energy where depending on (conventional) warhead the typical Tomahawk has around 3000MJ. So yea there is that too.

LRLAP isn’t a rail gun. It’s a conventional gun with a guided shell that has fins for gliding longer distances. Apparently you aren’t even aware of the weapon systems being discussed here or how this ship is even armed.

Almost every day the last 3-4 months I’ve had ZL1s going east bound on 96 and I leave the metro area. Different colored cars mixing up the days. All have manufacturer plates.

One this isn’t a rail gun round. Two, this has a 24lb warhead compared to a Tomahawk’s 1000lbs of HE. So comparatively depending on what needs to be taken out you’ll need more LRLAP rounds to destroy the target.

Once they can get the software to mesh with the gun system and actually have this thing battle ready then I’ll even consider thinking about this being possible. BUT when they have a gun that isn’t operational and are on the 3rd generation of the helmet on a proclaimed operational fighter jet that well.... isn’t

It could be set up with these for an interior and I’d still be on board with it

I just read Deadpool’s Art of War and am wrapping up the 360 game (yes the game came out in 2013, in my defense it’s the first VG I’ve played since COD MW3) Being that the game predates the book, it has a very similar plot to the point I would say they absolutely played the game before writing it.

Also if you haven’t

Even on grueling 150-mile Tour de France stages, the sprinters only ever finish 15 minutes or so behind the winners.

Well Chicago and DC do have strict laws but Detroit and Michigan as a whole have probably the most liberal gun laws in the country. Open carry with no license has been legal here for as long as I can remember. Don’t have a felony? You a free to throw one on your hip. CPLs are a dime a dozen and I know many holders
