Looks like my wife will be taking our WiiU when we visit my parents next weekend.... She was pretty upset when they postponed it earlier. She had come up with all these plans to maximize her play time and help out her team. Then Saturday came around and *poof* no Splatfest.

Wheeljack was basedon a real race car and I think his G1 self was almost an exact reproduction of the car’s livery. But changes in copyright laws have made ti so they can’t be super exact anymore. Not to mention other legal hoops. Just look up Masterpiece Exhaust.

This reminds me of how the character designer for Gundam Seed kind has the same problem. To the point where it seems like he reuses characters in different anime he works on.

The only thing that makes me think this isn’t a real thing is that I’m pretty certain if a new TF game were to come out right now, Hasbro would most likely try to tie it into to the Combiner Wars line. This would include having the characters look like they do in that line, not like their G1 cartoon selves.

Yes, but then that begs the question why they don’t just make them new characters?

As much as I would love to see MLP in this game, I think the fact that they allready have a sort of “generic girly toy” team, complete with rainbow equine would suggest they are not (at least at this time) part of the line up.

How the HELL did they get Hasbro to agree to do something with Mattel?
