N64 has one of the WORST full catalogues on any Nintendo console. There's maybe 10 really good games and 3-4 great ones. Nostalgia glasses off people.

It is turn-based. :) Your characters also get different abilities based on where they're standing in your party. (So being on the frontlines gives characters a different move than being in the back.)

None the less the slogan has always been, "The all-in-one entertainment system" and there's nothing wrong with that. Just something wrong with people thinking that just because it can watch Netflix well, it's somehow less of a game console.
