I got your point, I’m just saying it’s a rather irrelevant point that distracts from the issues of racism and privilege that are at the center of this. It’s like arguing over whether the car that hit you was silver or gray.

While believers in Karma may be mystic, the concept of Karma (at least in the Zen philosophy) is not restricted to the mystical. It is literally the concept of Cause And Effect. It’s an expansive concept that includes the result of your thoughts on your actions, and goes up to how your actions effect possible

Ft. Hood is considered the military garbage can for every subpar loser they won’t or can’t kick out.  It’s also known for having more racial tensions than a prison full of gangs (mainly due to shit commanders that let it happen).  Fort Sam doesn’t have the same reputation, but it’s quite possible it has similar

Do you have an incel community to go back to?

It’s even worse if you work in an international community because you get non-Americans who don’t really understand American slang, and I’m like “the hostess is not being a Karen just because she cancelled your reservation - you were 30 minutes late and the restaurant has a ‘cancel after 20 min’ policy!”

Interesting point, but I’d argue that 1.) ‘Karen’ isn’t *that* cutesy a name, and 2.) it’s always a good idea to examine racism, and that includes examining the different kinds of ways it manifests, and the ‘Karen’ type is distinct enough that it deserves its own subcategory.

How about instead of splitting hairs over whether she is white enough, we just agree that being a Karen isn’t restricted to whites, but rather is about having a certain sense of entitlement to be a bitch that is predominately (but not exclusively) found in white women?

1.) Upskirts are just a simple example that disproves your point of “Well sOmEoNe wants to hear about it so it must be newsworthy” point.

Tabloids post upskirt shots of women without their consent. Doesn’t make it newsworthy, and doesn’t mean I have to pretend like it has value. Find another cause to moralize about. I’d respect you more if you were just honest about the fact that you like messy gossip. Trying to justify it by awkwardly parroting some SJW

Random shit done by the wife of a midlevel celebrity hardly counts as “news.”

    Welp, case closed!

That’s... pretty much the definition of Karma?

I feel bad in the way I feel bad for a mentally ill shooter who cops finally shot. Shame that there isn’t a time machine to go back to before and give the choice for a better life path; but also, the circumstances that led to his death were directly the result of him actively endangering the lives of the people

Seriously, at least the Depp/Heard scandal had some sort of moral issue to justify how Jez kept going on and on and on about it.  Who gives a shit if she wants to emphasize her Spanish heritage?  That’s her business.

The whole “dogs who talk with buttons” thing has been on tumblr for over 6 months at this point.  Seriously, old news.

I dunno about the manager. While it wasn’t the right move, I can understand how he felt “just show her it isn’t her phone so we can resolve this and shut her up” was a good plan. The Karen, otoh, could use a public dragging.

You know art theft from a museum is also a federal crime - maybe that, instead of murder?

More like vow renewals are a usually desperate last-ditch attempt to salvage a marriage by renewing vows that one or both parties have severely broken.

Oh, I missed the emojis.  So, is he saying “bed wench” and getting racist about the fact that she’s dating outside her race, or does “bed wrench” mean something different?

I am totally excited for this, but why couldn’t it be Semmi’s kid? Akeem was quite clearly not screwing around on that trip.
