I think I played through Faxanadu at least a half dozen times as a kid. It was one of my favorite games on the NES. Some of the platforming was incredibly frustrating though.
I contributed to A.N.N.E. because it reminded me of Blaster Master. Now I can't help myself from contributing to Chasm because it reminds me of Y's III: Wanderers from Y's. Damn you nostalgia! Stop making me spend so much money!
Instead of running wire through your walls, install PVC pipe in the walls. that way you don't need to rewire the entire house every time a new standard comes out. Once you have your pipes in place, you can easily fish the wires through the pipe using a steel fish tape.
Garrus also makes a couple comments about it in the first game. It think it might have been one of the random dialogues that pop up when you walk into the docking bay if you had him as a squad member on the citadel.
The game that I played was called BEAST, but there were a bunch of similar games like this that came out in the 80's.
Blaster Master had an atrocious title screen, but the story segment that plays when you let it sit for a couple seconds is one of my favorites. Few games can match its quality of gameplay to absurdity of plot ratio.
