Yeah I know what you mean. There were prototypes of those cars pushed out at car shows for years and years. It’s nice to have the car drop right away as the production-ready model, presumably available in a few months.

Right, it was teased for 50 years instead...
Not unless the Supra has about $10k on the hood.
Counter point:
I love that saying becasue it identifies the people who had no business owning a boat in the first place and can provide cheap boats for the rest of us.
Not beyond the wake of the ship and tugs (which should be small as they’re moving slowly). But the propellers churn up the water more and create currents that further erode the foundations. The water is open to the ocean so displacement isn’t an issue like it might be if it was in a small lake or lock or something.…
Same. Night walks and photography are the best. I just got back from a month in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
True about the tourist tax though it wouldn’t be that much and it would go towards upkeep of the city and to help locals stay in the city. There is already a few euro tax per night, paid at your hotel/Airbnb, but I think they were talking about it being mandatory for any visitor to the city, even day trippers.
The current proposals are: ban cruise ships from stopping in the city (they have to dock at the mainland nearby and bus in), a larger tourist tax, and making a reservation to enter the city ahead of time (with a cap on the number of reservations). As an American who loves Venice, I’m in favor of all those.
Yep, and beyond the crash last month and this incident, they fuck up the city in several other ways (turbulence in the water, exhaust fumes etc).
That TL is just about the best combination of looks, fun, reliability, practicality, and price. If you need a cheap everyday car, this is it.
Cities in Europe should ban ICE cars from city centers. Public transport is good and many cities have bad air quaility becasue of them.
I didn’t watch the debate and don’t know about her at all, so only going by what was in that clip, she is 100% right.
They do. It’s called Tacoma. Just like say, BMW, moved everything up a size over the last 15 years (new 3 series is the same size as the old 5 series etc), so did truck makers.
I’ve heard this and it sounds weird and crazy. But I might try it next time.
Yeah, that one is fair, and we’re guilty of using that one. It’s a matter of knowing what you’re getting into, being realistic, and it being a worthwhile hobby/lifestyle for you,
- Said people who shouldn’t have owned a boat in the first place. Boating is the best thing ever. in fact: Boats > Cars
Good truck.
I question my driving skills on a weekly basis when parking my Frontier. I love everything else about it though.
Do that and put a hefty tax on food that causes the most damage - that is, almost all animal products - and we might be on the way to making a dent in the problem.
