For all the times he was “misspoken” to, heckled, and simply disrespected during his speeches throughout his presidency, I’m glad he finally had an audience that truly deserved him and that he truly deserved, though I wish it didn’t take nine lives for this moment to happen.

I’m starring your comment, because it’s terrific, but I think it’s important to note that there is a black experience that has nothing directly to do with slavery in the Americas. My best friend from medical school is Nigerian. He does not think to himself, “would my ancestors have been slaves two centuries ago in the

Yeah that might fly if she hadn’t sued Howard University for discrimination and claimed it was because she was white. This wasn’t when she was 5 years old, she was applying for a teaching assistant job at Howard. So her story changes to suit the questions being asked.

Sorry to be 'that med student' but this article mentions that she had an oophorectomy . While this is technically true (because she did have her ovaries removed), she also had her fallopian tubes removed, so the more accurate term for the procedure would be a salpingo-oophorectomy.

She wrote the op-ed because she is one of the highest profile women in the world and therefore is in a unique position to raise awareness about a condition that could become fatal for millions of women... But you're totally right. "Sit down and shut up, woman" is a much more appropriate stance to make. Ugh.

"...this time she closed the card with: 'From the woman who loved you first.'"

Upton Sinclair: 'It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.'

I don't think I have ever laughed as hard at anything on television as I did the first time I saw the clip above from "The Comeback Kid" with Leslie and Co walking out on that ice and then trying to get up on that stand.

I knew this coment would be here but not this quick. Damn, did T-Swizzle turn you down as a friend? Some of us can't make the list and it's okay.

Yeah this is the thing- planning a wedding without the groom kind of makes me think you're just planning a party where you want to be the center of attention and there's a floating silhouette standing next to you where any guy can get swapped in or out. What if he doesn't want to get married? What if he's allergic to

So as the top dog on the Shade court, does that make you Ruth Shader Ginsburg?
