It's more insidious than that, though. The entirety of the Social Justice sphere on the internet exists and is supported through efforts which act to divide, re-define and attack those they see as "against them". Let's be honest, if half the effort put into stupid, non-threatening nor actual problematic behaviors and

On a tangent, part of the whole issue is that we have a certain segment of our population as a vocal minority who firmly believe that they know better than everyone else and anyone who disagrees, no matter how absurd the original statement, are rapists.

To be honest, there really does exist a certain segment of the internet that very much goes out of their way to be offended. Hop over to Tumblr SJ for some good examples.

To be honest, it has nothing to do with gender. I've had similar experiences, myself, however it isn't a matter of an active decision to discriminate, but an honest reflection of the fact that doctors and counselors are just as human as any other person (meaning: flawed).

Don't hurt your head over this. It's abundantly clear that the position in these parts is that anything is justified as long as it's done in the name of victims. There's nothing to worry about, because positions like this are totally rational and proof that those advocating for murder are the ones who are in the

Whelp, just go Amazon because you're fucked.

If I'm in my house, there's no reason to not just play on my PC.

I love Pertwee, and watching his run is useful for anyone who wants to get more out of the Baker-era and beyond; it really is the point where the show coalesces into the universe we're used to seeing.

If I recall correctly, Beak was actually a foil employed in a rather successful way in order to address topics like bullying, body image, teen suicide, tolerance, etc., etc.

If I could walk into a store and grab something I may like without exchanging money, I would. So would you.

Snark and sarcasm, of course. I couldn't resist.

I don't believe you. Women aren't allowed to hold positions of any power in the gaming industry, so I call this a bold-faced lie.

You're correct. When WoW was first released through Wrath the competition was 1) also sub-based, and 2) far smaller an industry than it is today.

Wow. This is delving to depths of stupidity I have yet seen. That says a lot. Lindy, for godsakes, just stick to hating men? you're at least decent at that.

The next-gen anti-harassment system seems to be exactly what is needed. If they can, in fact, segregate the trolls and awful people from the rest of the community, it's a win-win for everyone. Trolls get to troll and the rest of us get to actually play games*.

I'm no game dev, but I'm amazed at how so many people without a shred of technical knowledge seem so quick and sure to label this as a cop-out when they have zero ability to make an informed decision. Even when some people actually get what they want, they can't help but keep up the antagonistic attitude.

Kinda like standing in the middle of the road so that you can be hit by traffic in both directions.

We have a winner. This was satire.

Isn't this just victim blaming? Shouldn't we be telling men not to rape as opposed to telling women not to be raped?

This post goes against everything Jez stands for. Shame.
