The thing is, they are both so delusional that they both probably believe in their own (but not each others) innocence. I don't think Lindsey just plays the victim, I think she genuinely thinks that she is the victim, and that everyone is out to get her. It seems like this Alexis girl is similar that way.

I guess there is the feeling that at puberty boobs suddenly start becoming 'sexual', and someone who is still basically a child might not be as capable as an adult of the same informed decision to participate in all of the cultural baggage that gets pushed on them for showing them in public. Or something, idk.

I think the marketing is a fair thing to take issue with. Marketing bikinis as sexy to kids is weird, marketing them as sporty is perfectly fine with me.

My mom tells me that when I was a toddler, anytime she turned her back on me at the pool or at the beach, I would have striped off my bathing suit and be running around nude within seconds. I think little girls in just bottoms is perfectly normal, but I don't have a problem with bikinis either.

I was in the Dominican republic a few months ago, and there was a girl at our resort (don't know where she was from) who wore only bikini bottoms. She looked like she was about 8, and definitely had a bit of a boob situation going on. I definitely thought it was weird.

I liked wearing bikinis when I was a kid because they were more functional. Pulling up wet bikini bottoms after going to the bathroom is a million times easier than pulling up a wet one piece.

But little girls one piece suits cover up the nipples. The only difference between the two is that the tummy is covered.

I had one when I was about 3, and then the next one I remember having was when I was ten. It was neon with a sports bra top and a frilly skirt bottom and I loved it. I don't think there is anything wrong with kids wearing bikinis. Little boys wear speedos- what's the difference?
