Don’t know what you’re talking about with them breaking. Back when they were popular I worked receiving in Walmart and one of my coworkers had one, dropped it, then ran it over with a pallet jack and a 500 pound skid and it didn’t even crack the screen.

Companies live Rev care only about short-term gains and give absolutely no thought to long-term sustainability. Sadly, this is seemingly the case for the vast majority of companies these days. Isn’t unchecked capitalism grand?

All the stories you hear about how abusive US border agents have gotten is one of the main reasons why I’ve refused to visit the US in the last couple of years. If they want to be douche bags then other countries can get my money.

The pessimism is strong with this one...

You can demand whatever you want. The other party isn’t obligated to listen to you, however.

I highly recommend Fury. It’s very well made.

Not a fan of Saving Private Ryan or Fury?

I don’t think sphere, as that’s still considered a flat universe, as in a line will never intersect itself. Donut shaped seems more apt, to me.

I’m not really well versed in this and the article doesn’t really say, but what would some of the consequences of a closed universe be? Does it mean that heat-death wouldn’t occur, since when things get too far apart they essentially loop back on themselves? Hopefully someone with a better understanding of this could

Do they need to? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Constantly upgrading systems that need to be 100% reliable is just introducing uncertainty and potential bugs. For something like nuclear launch systems the tried and true is a far better option.

not that this isnt still incredibly worrying.

“Launch the nukes!!”

I’m sure there was multiple things that led to his arrest. It’s very rare (and in my opinion, stupid) to rely on a single piece of evidence when going after someone.

requires good and vigilant parenting

It’s extremely narcissistic of humanity to assume that we’re the only life in the universe. Given how vastly, unimaginably huge the universe is it’s pretty much a statistical guarantee that there’s other life out there somewhere.

Also in 1977, the release of Star Wars. The Voyager probes have in been in space for as long as Star Wars has been a thing.

Nothing says “join my cause” like completely disrupting people’s daily lives. Fuck these people. They’re nothing more than hoodlums throwing a temper tantrum.

And despite this debacle, I guarantee that all the Boeing executives either got significant raises or golden parachutes.
