As far as getting a phone for limited use you might look at getting a used Sprint phone and activating it on Ting. It's $6 a month for the line and then you pay for the text and voice you use, you can also set it to limit use online. I would guess the bill would likely be $6 for the line + $3 for voice + $3 for

You should check out Download Manager (S3), it is functionally the same and works with modern versions of firefox.

I think you should have a round up of Xposed modules, maybe you could even have a Xposed pack or something.

The classic advice of cutting back on lattes is the best example of personal-finance 'experts' run amok. Not only does the advice not work — most people fail to cut back on their caffeine because it's an important pleasure in their day — but even if it did work, $3 a day doesn't add up to much! You could focus on far

It does pretty much the same thing, except it works on any rooted phone (with Xposed installed). So it reaches a wider audience.

I haven't had any issues running XVoicePlus, I am running the beta of version 2.4.2 but I haven't had any major issue. The dev for XVoicePlus is still active.

My google searching has yet to reveal one; unless someone else finds one I may see about writing one. I think it would be pretty simple, maybe a weekend of work to have a decent working version.

You may know about this but I use XVoicePlus. An Xposed module that allows me to use any texting app I want; it redirects all texts through google voice.

Maybe this isn't the right place to ask, but what is the best audiobook player for android? and is there a good one that is 100% free?

I didn't say that I just switched, I used feedly briefly after google reader shutdown and moved to InoReader because it has a better feature set and I liked the way it looked better. I have been using InoReader for almost a year now.

I saw the article in my InoReader and I thought, "boy, am I glad I switched from feedly"

I suppose you know, but this isn't Bill Watterson's work... it's by the guy who does the webcomic Zen Pencils (link to comic) I think the comic is a good read (it's the Kenyon College speech in comic form.)

Lesson: Life is not fair (and that is a good thing)

As a Firefox user, I can't really help you out. You could give Firefox a try, I think it has improved a lot in the last year or 2.

I don't know what browser you use, but for Firefox I have found that this add-on doesn't break amazon links (including tracking links)

The only issue would be dropbox's security, I would consider looking at tresorit, it's a more secure cloud storage (and they have an android client like dropbox), lifehacker featured them awhile back. If you want an extra 1GB of space you can use my referral link.

Even outside of the fees, I had a friend in college (a number of years ago, before a lot of extra fees) who checked is computer. It was bad, apparently the TSA decided to search his computer, and for some reason they felt like they needed to remove his hard drives, and instead of unscrewing them, they just ripped

I've been with ting for about the last year, and their customer support has been really good and I switched my father and he's been happy so far.

If you want the option for multiple targets when you swipe up you'll have to either run a custom rom or you might be able to do it if you're rooted with the xposed framework, and one of the plugins.

I like palemoon, but I actually find tab groups to be very useful, so if that was ever added to palemoon, I'd switch back, until then I'll stick to Firefox.
