Well, with ting you don't really have a plan, you just pay for whatever you use, so at the end of the month if you used less than you estimated, you will pay less.

awesome, I hope ting works out well for you.

You can also get $25 credit if you sign up with a referral link.
(like mine: https://zb02it27t1.ting.com/, if for some reason I can't post this here, I'm sorry)

So it's really weird reading the comments as I just now realized many of them are more than 2 years old.

Sorry, I didn't see Andy's post asking the same question...
(Feel free to ignore me)

It seems like you can already do this all with the Picasa desktop app, so why would I want to hack things to get the G+ Photos app?

The biggest issue I see with this is, you still have to insert each coin individually. I was hoping for something with a hopper that you could just pour a bucket of coins into and it would sort them. I guess I'll have to design my own.

To me you're missing a few add-ons, so here are my additions to the list.

Maybe I'm the only one who uses it but this seems similar to the multiple inboxes lab feature, if I can use both that could be nice but I would want to pick labels for the other tabs

You're right, it's off to the left... I must not be awake yet this morning (either that or I don't know left from right)

In the article you say "the video is in the center" but the screenshot shows it a little off center towards the right, which is it?

That's true, although I'm pretty sure without a custom recovery, you'd have to flash it from a computer.

Technically, you do not have to root to install a custom ROM on Android.

Not to be rude... but I don't think I have seen ROM Toolbox Pro for $0.99 the lowest I can remember, and has been in the last 2 months, is $2.99 (which is still a good deal)

I know Ting will do number porting for free. Or you could port your number into Google Voice for $20, and just forward calls to whatever carrier number you get.

So this may not be the best place to ask but are there any iTunes alternatives that support smart playlists like iTunes and syncing with Android?

I use Avast for their anti-theft features but they also have call and SMS blocking. I'm not sure why it wasn't listed on the apps. (I'm not sure if you will still be charged for the SMS or not)

this would have been nice for me to know about in the past, currently Google Now seems to have the same functionality.
