Anyone can be sued for anything. That doesn't mean the suit won't get tossed or be otherwise unsuccessful, but "how can [X] be sued for [Y]?" is a pointless question in American legal practice.

>No one knew FTX was a scam until it all fell apart

Well, no, it’s not “free speech”. It’s a privately-owned website and mobile app, where your speech is only as free as the owners decide to allow - the same as every other website and app. In the United States, “free speech” usually refers to the constitutional right to free speech, which means the government cannot

I’m so happy she’s back in something! It’s been a long time since the end of The Middleman.

Oh, I wasn’t aware of anything he did that was criminal. Obviously, it’s not illegal to say hateful, racist or otherwise bigoted things. Or are you saying his comments constituted actual threats?  I think the legal threshold for a threat is that it has to be specific, while his twitter rant seemed really general. Or

That was true in the beginning, but over time it became repetitive, and even worse, derivative. By the early 2000s, maybe 2010, it was just formulaic.

Kanye is another in a long, long line of people who excel in one field (like music, or business), and their ego then inflates such that they think they’re brilliant in every other field. Kanye’s music-business brilliance fails to translate into smarts in politics, or social causes, and he doesn’t realize this. He also

I certainly didn’t say Dilbert was never funny - I said it hasn’t been funny in about 20 years. The strip was funny in the 1990s, but by early to mid 2000s, it was just mundane and derivative. It’s nothing to do with him liking Trump, although maybe there’s some truth to the stereotype that conservatives aren’t good

The other commenters reply is spot on - your argument that Dilbert isn’t intended to be funny is just stupid p.

*Yawn* Seriously, that’s your retort? That Dilbert isn’t even *intended* to be funny? Weak

Adams lacks the self-awareness to do political cartoons, and in any case, Dilbert hasn’t been funny for about 20 years.

And now Trump's Twitter clone might go belly up too? Who could possibly have predicted this??!?

Now you’ve got me wondering if that Futurama episode where Bender turns into a (were-) car was a reference to TurboTeen

Hahahaha, If you actually believe what you just wrote, you're the biggest idiot on gizmodo. So many logical fallacies and so much lack of evidence. I guess you're in league with the flat earth movement 😂😂😂😂

I clicked thru to watch the full videos on YouTube, some of these are legit gut-busting hilarious. The whole “I live alone... I’m a stay at home mom ... I’m a stay at home dad” bit was just great. This reminds me of an app I had long ago for spam callers. It was a set of recordings, including one where the voice

Oh yeah, last year and hit 114° F at my house, during the infamous heat dome. I don't smoke, so no worries on the cigarettes 😊

Oh, that sux about the humidity! I've only been up to Vancouver once in the past few years (the one in BC, where I presume you live), but it was end of summer and beautiful out. Enjoy the shaved ice!!

It’s 92° F as I sit here on my back porch eating some triscuits, and supposed to hit 99 this afternoon, and 100 tomorrow. We do have central A/C, then I feel immense sympathy for anybody who doesn’t. The only saving grace is that it’s not humid - about 35% right now - so it doesn’t feel nearly as hot as, say, New York

You say the kingdom likely has enough money... I’m not so sure. This looks like it could easily cross the trillion-dollar mark. The Saudi sovereign wealth fund has about $650 billion.... I mean, this would be a skyscraper 2000 city blocks long. If it cost $1 billion per block, that would be $2 trillion. Maybe I'm way

And Not only are they not swimming in cash, many of the engineers and experts who have kept their space program going are older, and are retiring or have already retired. Their quality has been slipping (crewed launch abort, proton failures, that hole that was leaking air, etc.). I question whether they still have the
