Path of Exile. Goal is to kill shaper this weekend

That’s exactly how I felt before I got into Simming. I first tried a flight simulator and 9 months later I’ve bought almost the entire DCS catalogue, purchased a HOTAS, a new monitor and a VR headset just because of how epicly engrossed I’ve become.

They should just have Dick and Starfire get back together. They were cute together and most of the current readers grew up with the 2003 Teen Titans animated series to get their relationship.

Same.

Now playing

I recommend Day9 playing the Last of Us. The highlight is the flooded hotel where, to prepare for the mass of zombies that are going to charge him when he starts a generator, Sean places a stuffed rabbit on his shoulder and makes his bed to mentally chill out.
He then loses his goddamn mind has he runs to the exit.

My husband was DMing for our D&D group, and he didn’t know how “braziers” was pronounced. So the whole party walked into “a large chamber lit by flaming brassieres.”

I can stumble across a troll in a campsite and use the medallions of Mara, the empty bottles of wine, the twin sleeping bags and come to a sad conclusion on my own.

I agree with your point about Bethesda’s design philosophy. I feel like they catch too much hell for the writing and characters and voices, but that’s not what their games are about. It’s about laying out a world in front of you and then getting out of your way and letting you encounter the world on your own terms.

It is interesting to view a woman’s perspective of the game. I have played through the game a few times (2252 hours into it) the first play through I stayed with Yen, but on new game+ I always romanced Triss, she is almost a perfect personality, not only is she fun, funny, romantic, she is also a very powerful

You should get some mods for the game.

Personally, I found a mod that adds an interface allowing you to apply oils without going to the inventory screen an absolute sanity-saver.

As was a mod that let me finally jump when in shallow water (there’s an island in Skellige that has a docks area where, if you foolishly park

I wouldn’t even have known of the game if I hadn’t changed upon it during the Steam sale in October. Saw the 10/10 rating and was hooked, though I don’t prefer RPGs. Had no clue about the books or the previous games.

I preferred Triss to Yen. That’s who Geralt ends up with.

Yeah lol, the first book “The Last Wish” was actually originally just a small short story about Geralt that the author wrote for a contest back in like the 80s lol. It was popular enough that he added more short stories to it and compiled that into a book. The extra other short stories for it he wrote in segments so

oh she’s hella stressed, don’t worry she warms her icy exterior

I chose Triss, because she had a prominent role in Witcher 2 (which I absolutely loved) and I wanted to see that through. Having never read the books or played Witcher 1, I didn’t really have much reason to care about Yen.

Oh friend, soon you too shall know the pain of wondering why every game just isn’t The Witcher 3.

You should check out the books, their in audio books as well. Geralt is such a wonderful character, but he and all the others are captured much better in the book. Ciri is by far my favorite character. My personal opinion about them is you will not truly get some of these characters without knowing their backstory

I was also late to the Witcher 3 party, and have most of the same thoughts as you. Geralt definitely seemed to be just another male power fantasy but there’s some incredible depth to the writing, especially if you play all the side quests.

I chose Yen and its a very nice relationship arc
